It was my intention to continue the countdown today, but after writing up even more involved capsules for teams 100-89, my clumsy, fat fingers managed to somehow select and erase every team from 100-88, undoing my entire night of work. I just got a new laptop, and goddammit if those mouse things on them aren't the worst things ever. So, long story short, I'm going to just list the next 25 teams and try it again over the weekend. Sorry.
Starting from the top...
91. UAB (3-9)
90. Rice (4-8)
89. Wyoming (6-6)
88. Troy (8-4)
STANDINGS
1. Troy 8-4 (7-1)
2. Middle Tennessee 7-5 (6-2)
3. FIU 7-5 (6-2)
4. ULM 6-6 (5-3)
5. Arkansas State 7-5 (5-3)
6. North Texas 3-9 (3-5)
7. Florida Atlantic 2-10 (2-6)
8. Louisiana-Lafayette 2-10 (1-7)
9. Western Kentucky 2-10 (2-6)
BEST NFL PROSPECT: T.Y. Hilton, WR, Florida International; 59 rec, 848 yards, 5 TD, 28.7 avg on KR , 2 RET TD in 2010; projected 5th round selection by Consensus Draft Services
BOWLS
New Orleans Bowl, December 17: SMU (7-6) over Troy (8-5)
Yes, Troy will be dominant in the Sun Belt again this season, but once they are stacked up a mid-level team from an upper echelon conference (and C-USA is upper echelon when compared to the Sun Belt), the Trojans are exposed as big fish in the little, scum-infested pond.
GoDaddy.com Bowl, January 8, Mobile, AL: Northern Illinois (11-3) over Middle Tennessee (7-6)
This should be a rout, as Middle Tennessee is nowhere near as good as their record. If you're sharp, you should be able to deduce some things about how the MAC season turns out from Northern Illinois's post-bowl record.
87. Idaho (6-6)
86. Western Michigan (7-5)
85. Temple (7-5)
84. Toledo (7-5)
83. Ohio (11-1)
82. Minnesota (3-9)
81. Colorado (1-12)
80. Colorado State (7-5)
79. Northern Illinois (9-3)
78. East Carolina (6-6)
Bid happy trails to the Sun Belt and the MAC, because you won't be seeing them again on this list. Have a great weekend!

*SIDEBAR #2: Sun Belt Preview*
Since Troy is of course the highest-rated Sun Belt team, I figured now would be a good time to unveil my Sun Belt preview, along with the bowl projections of those bowls that the Sun Belt will play in.
